On The Hunt

Just as I stepped outside for a quick check of the garden I immediately returned for my camera. This male common whitetail dragon had perched on a garden stake right in front of me. Lucky for me he was still there when I returned. At first I thought he was following me around the yard but I soon discovered it was the cabbage white butterflies that captivated his rapt attention. We currently have four of them flitting to and fro, here and there, and all around. I do find them both beautiful and annoying at the same time.
