Girl power

A wonderful afternoon was spent in our garden celebrating my 50 years working in the practice. The sun shone and it was so lovely to have so many of the vets, nurses and reception staff with their families relaxing away from the pressures of busy practice life . It was a delight to meet all the little babies and toddlers that have arrived and to meet partners. Old photos of my earlier days had been found and a book produced with lovely messages written.

The blip shows little Iona who’s mum is a vet and lives only a few doors away so this little girl is very relaxed in our garden  - she loves exploring and is in perpetual motion. An extra shows her gently meeting one of the other little girls. I managed to capture her for one of the extras and the other one shows the surprise balloon that our dear friends D & L sent - D and I have been pals since we met at the Dick Vet in Edinburgh away back in 1967 .
