Beautiful poppies

Bb. This lovely patch of wildflowers can be found at Newhall point in front of some of the houses along the shore.Today’s poppies had nearly finished but those holding on still looked wonderful and colourful.
We were up early and off to the Puffin Pool for my weekly dip. We could see the weather changing as we approached Dingwall and I just missed a heavy downpour. I picked up a free book aboutTom Baker ( Dr Who with the long scarf and K9 ) .My friend Anne has read it and said it was good and very funny.
We went to David’s afterwards and dropped off the rowing machine we picked up from Black Isle Freebies. David’s delighted as he’s been looking for one for a while.
After David’s we went in search of where the old Skiach distillery was.We could not find it but did find some free Jam from a stall outside one of the houses in Katewell.
We had a pleasant walk at Alness Point.The tide was coming in and it was nice to sit and listen to the waves.
