Tiger Swallowtail in Mimosa Tree

The butterflies on the mimosa tree at Wicomico Shores were all over the flowers. They were flapping their wings furiously. While I was shooting, my husband noticed a little hummingbird in the tree and pointed it out (extra.)
The butterflies were manic. They were nothing like the calm butterflies here. I was curious as to why, so I looked up the situation on google. Wow! A butterfly's diet is 90% alcohol and they fly around drunk all day. I wonder what magic nectar is in the mimosa flower that causes them to have so much energy.
