Shade

I'm due to lead a Ramblers walk in Camelon and Carron on Tuesday, so I thought I had better recce the route even though it's a pretty familiar one for me.

On one previous occasion I had to change the route quite drastically as part of the path was completely flooded due to heavy and incessant rain. On another occasion I had to cancel the walk completely due to a Met Office Amber alert for snow and ice. On that occasion, although the route of the walk itself wasn't too badly affected, the access and surrounding roads were treacherous. Never had to do a recce before when the abundance of shade from the sun was a factor!
