Not sure whether it counts as 'suffering for one's art' but I got bitten alive while trying to take these photos at Lenzie Moss local nature reserve on Sunday evening.

Equally not sure if it counts as a 'win-sin situation' because, while I got some more photos for my collection, numerous flying beasties had a good feed on my person.

A trip to the freezer compartments of a local supermarket was required, primarily to obtain food for me for the next few days, but as a by-product giving me the chance to cool down while making life uncomfortable for those beasties that had come along for the ride.

I suppose visiting a peat bog on a summer's evening was rather asking for trouble.
