Move slowly

On hot days we just move along like a snail. Found this one sliding up the remains of the sunflower stalk probably to nibble on the last flower blooming. I am sure he will slide back down as the sun comes out on the back yard.

A super good rain yesterday afternoon to make everything look greener! I bought a few flowers yesterday to put in the bed where the wildflowers were eaten by the deer. I guess I will have to cage this bed so they won’t eat the new flowers. Hoping to attract butterflies.
