Way out east

We set off for Edinburgh after lunch - it was warm, maybe low 20s, but we put the air conditioning on anyway. When we got to Callander we decided to have a comfort stop, opened the car door and - wow, what a difference! It was approaching 30 degrees, but hot for us, quite fuggy.

All the lochside car parks were full, cars parked on the verges everywhere. Tourists abounding! We pulled into our usual tea-break spot at the David Stirling memorial - the founder of the SAS - and there was nobody there at all! I've Blipped him before, so had to think of something different!

33 degrees when we arrived in Edinburgh, but a great deal hotter in the south, I'm sure!
