Keeping the Flame Alive

It's the tenth anniversary of the London Olympics. I told my pals that there were all sorts of things going on down there and suggested we pop in for a look. It turned out that it all kicks off tomorrow. 

But there was a ceremony going on where the London mayor Sadiq Khan was lighting a new flame. We were at the tail end of it and there were interviews going on. Then the big wigs lined up for a group photo. And there was Ellie Simmonds. I think she's great and had a quick word. She was lovely and smiley. 

So the trip wasn't wasted- I got my celeb Blip.
