My Round?

This passageway in Crewkerne is often ripe for photographic picking, with the archway entrance a ready frame and people drinking away from the noise of the street.

We visited the town for shopping (and I bought decorator's caulk in the wrong colour!) but we wandered the older streets, discussing the town's former prominence as a sail production centre, exporting around the world.  We also visited the beautiful church, St Bartholomew's, remarkable for its location near the centre but bounded on one side by fields in a wooded valley.  The organ was very large but this horn-like instrument over the west door, in the Extra, was mysterious. I can find no reference to it on the church website, but if it is an instrument I bet it sounds very fine.
