Visit to Bedlam

We drove south to Beckenham to visit the Museum of the Mind, in the grounds of the very large Bethlem Hospital, once known as Bedlam. Dear daughter volunteers at the museum, and it was a first visit for D and me. It was fascinating, disturbing, and uplifting. Especially a special exhibition on bipolar disease. The blip shows some of the decorations on a pottery studio, one of many art therapy facilities at the hospital.
