Slipping Into Darkness

Tricky conditions with bright sun and wind. The wildflowers were blowing about, but also the light and shadow kept changing as the sun was temporarily blocked by trees moving in the wind.

Exposing for the bright petals, the shot came out quite dark, but drawing on my recent b&w editing, I kept it that way and brought out the lights in the image. I think the result is dramatic and colourful and has a lot of depth to it.
