The Pond

Hair cut this morning.
Called in to Tesco for a few bits and pieces, including some wine for tonight.
Got a nice compliment from the checkout lady, who asked if I had had my hair done, as it looked lovely . Thank you kind lady. Made my day!
Then stopped by the pond on my way home.
Difficult to see which are the young geese as they are just like there parents.
The moorhens have had another brood. The second or maybe third this year.
The pond is very low at the moment. Once it has lost such a lot of water it takes ages to fill up again.
However the flowers round the edge were looking good, especially the echinops which were covered in bees. Must get a plant for our garden.

Warm day although cloudy at moment.20C.
Hopefully will be fine for tonight’s BBQ.
