Common Chicory with a Love Bug

We had a good walk in Hamilton Wood, just outside town, this morning. Lots of wild flowers and beasties.
We saw one roe deer fairly close. He stared for a wee while then wandered on. Three very vocal buzzards made their presence clear throughout our walk. I’m guessing a territory dispute.
We saw no-one. The thought crossed my mind that instead of a shower, fresh clothes and make-up, I could have been walking around the woods in my jammies! Nobody would have known.
Since we came back I have sat on the sofa and done nothing, but word games, photo editing, blipping, and reading.
