Now, as I see it......

Wonderful Land

It's 60's weekend on the railway and for once it's a railway blip without a train.  We walked over to Weybourne where everything was 'happening'; not busy, but a really nice atmosphere.  There was a 'Shadows' tribute band playing, a few sixties cars and caravans on display, and sixties diesel trains running through the station.  Because of the hot dry weather and consequent fire risk there were no steam trains running but there was one in the station giving short rides to the yard and back.

This couple were there with their 60's VW Campervan and dancing to the band.  I've added an extra with a few other shots from the day.  Tomorrow there is a different band playing cover songs from the likes of the Kinks, Beatles, Rolling Stones etc., so I think we might buy Rover tickets for the day and see what is going on.
