New hat selfie

I'm in the garden, playing with an app that identifies birds by their song - it's marvelous. It's called Merlin and well worth downloading. It does photo ID too but if I can see them I usually have a fighting chance, I'm bobbins at the songs though.

Excitement in the area. The main road is closed because of a burst water main. Large swathes are without water and the diversion is sending large lorries down lanes that can be tight with a small car, especially at the weekend when more cars are parked because people are not at work or are visiting the church/pub. The village Facebook group is alight.
