ermine moth

This is the Bird Cherry Ermine Moth (Yponomeuta evonymella), resting on the branch of an apple tree in our garden.

The weather was good enough to enjoy some gardening today and I was able to plant out some runner beans and poppies. The recent rain has battered the flowers somewhat, but most plants have benefitted from the soaking.

Drumming tonight - rehearsing for Dumfries Pride on Saturday. We are going to play in the town centre before the march sets off.
