Sunflower Fields

While I was away last week, our local sunflower fields bloomed and peaked.  I saw many posts on Facebook and Instagram that tortured me, so after our two day drive, arriving home late yesterday afternoon, I couldn't wait to get out there this morning.   Unfortunately, arriving at 7:30 wasn't early enough to catch the Indigo Buntings so I will go back again earlier on Tuesday.  The best part was meeting Wendy there.  We haven't seen each other in over a month and haven't been on a photography outing in even longer.  We had a good catch-up and made plans for next week.
