Another Day

Corfe Station

Dups and I have had a full on day today, starting out with travelling from Weymouth to Wool, Wareham, Corfe Castle, Swannage, Church Knowle, Kimmeridge, Lulworth, and back to home, worn out. And dear Trish, Dups sister had our tea cooked and dished up to us weary travellers. We took many photographs along the way, and stopped at little villages and admired the houses built of stone, and thatched with straw. It is all a bit like a story book.
It was sunny most of the time, blue sky and nice big fluffy clouds, but sometimes the wind was as mean as. And to my surprise there were many people out walking beaches etc, and not worrying about the cold wind.
This image is of the train coming into the station, at Corfe. It is picking up passengers and will be continuing on to Swannage. If you look closely you will be able to see Dups standing under the verandah. In the background, on top of the hill are the remains of Corfe Castle, which was built sometime in the 11 th century.
There is a beautiful village at Corfe, and a big church, many tourists visiting like us, with cameras around their necks. The houses are built of stone, and the roof thatched.
It is a very old town.
I am using an iPad to download my photos from my camera, but I am having trouble, and the pictures come up on the screen, and whenI select the ones to download, a red stop sign comes up. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.
