Dwarf Sunflower

I grew  a number of dwarf sunflowers from seed. More than I needed, but when I planted them out the slugs had a munch day. The result only one survived to provide a glorious bloom, with second following on. It was worth the trouble but next year I will find a way to keep the slugs away (ecologically friendly of course.)
It rained again this morning, which was again welcome and provided the opportunity to complete the latest UPP Folio. This afternoon a couple of hours in the garden clearing most of the broad bean plants ready to replant with winter brassicas.
This evening  the excitement and tension of cheering on the Lionesses.
