Garden Visit

I went to church this morning and had a last minute invitation to join a small group for lunch at a friend’s house. Not only is the food always delicious, but there are always lots of interesting things to see in this large garden. Chickens (laying hens only), bees, flowers, fruit, and vegetables. I love the tyres in the trees with plants inside. The two resident dogs are Tarzan (left) and Dino (right).

We ate outside and were served a chicken dish with beans and yellow courgettes that were from the garden. The dessert was a frangipani tart with plums and a side of mulberries, both from the garden.
