Texture

I love the colour and texture of pine cones. I met up with a friend and her two daughters at a local country park today. The walk and conversation were lovely but there was a gazillion flies around so stopping for shots was not on the agenda. Instead I saw these pine cones and decided I would take shots of them instead.
