Gaura

Often called Beeblossom as the bees love it.  It is native to North America.  Quite a new plant in my garden and seems to withstand drought, it is so delicate with wand-like stems and butterfly shaped flowers.

A crowd of us went to try the Indian restaurant a few miles away this evening.   A success, although there was so much choice on the menu it took quite a while to choose!  Will return one day.
