Patriotic face

We went to Tooting Broadway in a bid to pick up two tings: a birthday present for my brother which needed to be some kind of spice storage container and some more jubilee branded items for an impromptu party at Mark and Rob’s house.

We didn’t do very well with the jubilee food items although we got a couple of things at a Tesco store within a petrol station. We were much more successful with the present from a great shop on Upper Tooting Road that specialised, mainly, in Indian cooking equipment. The staff were really helpful. My only doubt about what we bought is that I may have ordered him something similar for a previous Christmas present. But if he has two that’l be OK.

On the way up the road there was a cardboard cutout of the Queen which we posed next to before getting to the Mark & Rob’s house. I bought the Union Flag face mask ahead of the party we went to On Thursday but I ended up not using it. Today it seemed appropriate for a selfie.
