Through the window

Melbourne had a real wind today - it tore round the streets blowing leaves all over the place!

In contrast to the weather, we had a lovely relaxing day - one of Gina's old friends from the UK, Kristian, has recently moved here and we managed to meet up for lunch. I'd never met him before and we all got on really well. Miles was behaving himself like a little trooper, so what started as lunch turned into a wander down Brunswick street and ended up at the Little Creatures Brewhouse for a few pints (yes, Miles was still happy as Larry - what a guy!).

As we strolled down the funky Brunswick street, I got a glimpse through an upstairs window and saw this lady lurking behind the glass. Now I'm not normally in the habit of taking pictures through other people's open windows, but the red of this scene was overwhelming, with the peeling paint of the building and the red of the amazing artwork. The angle isn't great, but hopefully some of you will see what I saw.

Aside from a small crop, I've not changed anything in this shot - it's as it was out of the camera.
