Spring is around the corner

My star magnolia has started flowering.   It actually had some flowers open a few weeks back but this one is a record for me that it was flowering before August.  I think it is early.  There are other Spring flowers that are out now too.  The clivias are now flowering and I saw a snowdrop.  The bluebells are starting to put their leaves up.

It is cold still but it does feel like Spring is just around the corner.

A busy day in the garden with the veggie patch weeded, dug over and the new seedlings planted.  It is netted off so hopefully that will keep those pesky possums away.
