Wuthering Heights day

Did you know it was Wuthering Heights day? edit:  Today is Kate Bush's birthday and in celebration there are groups of people around the world that dress up as Kate in her video clip of her song Wuthering Heights and dance to the music.   A large contingent of people, mainly ladies, but there was a man dressed up as Kate (see second extra), dogs and a mob of children, all in their red dresses, red flower in the hair, black scarf tied around the waist and (mainly) red tights congregated at King Edward park today.  There was a dancer Kate who choreographed the crowd to the song of Wuthering Heights.  She is in the second extra too.  After a couple of rehearsals it was opening night midday.  I loved it.

The girl in my main must do ballet, she had the hand movements spot on and pointed her toes like a ballerina.  She was fabulous.

They had to do it all again when the news crew turned up late but I think they all enjoyed that.

They also did running up the hill (not accompanied by music) and the first extra is them coming down the hill.  Well what goes up must come down.
