St Wilfrid’s Day Parade ….
The annual parade founding of the Cathedral by St Wilfrid, 1350 years ago, took place today. Floats included every costume imaginable, huge joy and community togetherness. It concluded with a service in the Cathedral with all generations present, exuberant singing, joyful celebrating and a prize for the Say No to Plastic entrants, dressed as hammerhead sharks, jellyfish, turtles & all manner of other aquatic beauties. So a normal church service really..
