L’Anse Bay

Our short vacation to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula came to an end today, and we made the 10 hour trip home. I visited L’Anse Bay next to our campground just before we left the area.

I included two images of the mighty Mackinac Bridge in the extras. This 5 mile (8km) long suspension bridge crosses the Straits of Mackinac, and it connects Michigan’s Upper and Lower Peninsulas. The first photo shows the view through the windshield just as we started to cross the bridge today. I did not get an image of the entire thing during this trip, so I included one that I took last year in a park on the north side of the bridge while a storm was approaching.
