Allotment crops

First full morning spent along at our Saughton Allotment for several weeks - the plot wasn't too overgrown: think the dry weather has definitely helped!

Managed to gather quite a few small crops, with lots more to follow over the coming weeks: onions, broad beans, peas, blackberries, blueberries, redcurrants, raspberries - and a few tester-potatoes, which definitely need some more growing time! Some gladioli and lavender also picked :-)

Now looking forward to the football this evening - I can't lose; am half-English and was born in [West] Germany  :-))
