Seeing Beyond Looking

Mountain Scenes and Family Hikes

This is our second outing of our stay in the mountains. We took a gondola (télécabine) up to a spot called Roc d'Orsay, 1800m altitude. Just below the outing of the day before. We decided to walk down a narrow path back to the Bretaye cog-wheel train to take us back to Villars. The main shot is part of an old chalet which looked so pretty with the climbing roses.

Extras:
- Two little calves near our path
- The path leading down the hill. If you look well, you can see the chair-lifts against the blue of the sky and tiny cows on the downward slope. The lovely flowers everywhere are Rosebay Willowherb.
- The last extra shows the end part of our path which leads to a café where we had a refreshing beer before catching the train down.
