Blencathra

Coming off the M6 at J40 you can't miss this Fell as it dominates.  Today my daughter and grandson were returning home to Kent.  I had my last play with H for a while before taking them to Penrith station-a crowded station with revellers from 'Kendal Calling (festival.)  Thankfully they got on the train before, so things had quietened down by the time the London train arrived. No ice cream for me for a while now!
As you can see Blencathra has clouds above it making the top dark.  I did spot a patch of sunlight which I thought would make a good photo.
