Hydrangeas.  

Day off from chores today as H, S Mr HB and I went to the cinema in Telford to see ‘The Return of the Railway Children’.  Jenny Agutter, Sheridan Smith and Tom Courtney took the leading roles, and all other actors/actresses were great too.  It wasn’t much like the original Railway Children film but charming nonetheless and I loved seeing all the Yorkshire countryside, particularly Howarth, a favourite place of ours.  A quick bite to eat on the way home and then a sit and relax in H&S’s lovely garden with a G&T.
 
I’ve come home with an armful of Dahlias, tomatoes, peas and beans , such a bonus having generous friends with prolific flower and veg gardens!
 
Back to the grindstone tomorrow finishing off Daisy’s wardrobe.
