Poppy

The poppies on the patio have really big, blousy flowers but the seed heads are quite small. They were looking messy and I wanted to encourage a new flush of growth to produce more flowers.

The heads were mostly standing upright so hadn't spilled their seeds. I gathered them all up in a box and will sow them somewhere more convenient than where they have chosen to grow.

Camera battery on charge. SD card formatted. I've been asked if I'll photograph an outdoor event tomorrow as a favour to the parish.
