Quite a different day today.

We collected the B-I-L and made an all day trip to Carlisle. There were various places we needed to shop including Dobbies and then in the afternoon I had my routine mammogram appointment.

The appointment went very smoothly and I distracted myself by chatting to the radiographer about people I had trained with, now all retired but known to the radiographer.

Ladies, never turn down a chance for a mammogram. They managed to catch a growth in me 15 years ago before it had even reached the size of being able to be felt.
