On a Pig Hunt

Went across to the small town of Eye today, partly as they have one of those painted sculpture trails on, partly because I've got "Street Scene" coming up as a photo group topic - & partly because it's actually the nearest town, though we hardly ever go there. I was hoping that one of the pigs could be incorporated into a street scene - I'm thinking more of "scene" rather than candid street photography. That didn't really work out, but the Guildhall (Gildhall?) of St Mary next to the church caught my eye. It's an amazing 15th century timber-framed building with a very detailed carving depicting the Archangel Gabriel on the corner post. It was restored in Victorian times & is now a private house. Can't help wondering who's purchasing it..

Back to earth - the extra is one of the pigs, stationed outside the church next door.
