A gift from upstairs

Our upstairs neighbours offered me this lovely Italian pot a couple of days ago. It now sits proudly in our hall, holding an aspidistra (which may well have come from my long-dead grandmother's house).

Today I brewed a batch of green soup before breakfast, finished and posted the blog post that I drafted yesterday, worked some more on the first of the two conference presentations that I need to prepare for September, and went for a run.

Exercise today: 2 mile run.
