Japanese Garden Larch Cottage Nurseries

We decided to have a run out to Larch Cottage Nurseriesat Melkinthorpe.  On our way past Penrith we picked up Kanyl.  

As usual at the Nurseries, there were masses to see and photograph, colourful flowers, bees, etc.  Having gone through all my many shots for the afternoon I decided I needed a change from flowers.  So here you have a small corner of the Japanese garden.

For those who don't know Larch cottage it is basically in two parts, the commercial selling areas and landscaped gardens, Peter runs a landscaping business as well as the nurseries so I assume they serve as examples of what they can do.  There are ruins, the Japanese garden, his private garden and chapel, etc.  The Private gardens and Chapel are open at times in aid of various charities, currently Ukraine.
