The Butterfly Formerly Known As Cabbage White

Ollie dog and I had a nice walk this morning with my daughter, granddaughter and Frankie dog. The dogs had great fun playing in the lake with two lovely children and a flat-coated retriever.

Lots of large white butterflies were flitting around the burdock this afternoon. They're usually too skittish to capture but I managed a couple of shots. 

I've added an image of my friend the willow emerald damselfly. I get pics of him every day in Butterfly Alley.
