An Alpine Resevoir

Chervé dam has created this beautiful lake, Lac Cleuson, very swimmable from the far end. We did a walk called the Bisse de Chervé that none of the three of us old ladies had been to before, usually someone knows the route. The early part of the walk went through a magnificent forest of Arolla pines (my favourite in extra) and Larches, definitely a walk to repeat in the autumn. Second extra is the view towards the dam which was so much more interesting with the afternoon clouds.
