Buddleia Battles Continue

And the winner is this very smart Silver-Washed Fritillary who repeatedly dived bombed the other 4 contenders on the Buddleia. You can see bits of 2 of them still fighting. All of them had bits missing from their wings except this one. 

Now we are waiting for our 2 Swiss granddaughters to arrive out of a terrific storm. We are sooo happy to have this rain and the granddaughters!  They are staying this weekend with the boyfriend of one of them. It is ages since we have seen them.
