Western Edge

This view looks towards Crieff way. It was stunning on our walk this morning. Saffy was bursting with energy and enjoyed good gallops!

I forgot yesterday to acknowledge Elish McCoglan’s tremendous 10,000m victory at Birmingham. It was amazing to watch her come from behind and beat the Kenyan all to deafening roars from the crowd. And that her mum Liz was there who won it 32 years ago in Auckland. What a story. What a moment for her, and she’s her mums double!

Sad story re a friend of mines husband. He wasn’t feeling well for a few months and had tests done and they have come back with stage 4 lung and liver cancer. They aren’t long retired and he’s not got long to live. So sad.

Morag popped in to see us in the afternoon so was nice to see her.

News from Dundee, Cameron passed his theory with flying colours. Well done to him. He celebrated with a large messy ice cream .

Getting ready for our trip next week. It’s the north west coast so not expecting too much in the way of sunshine and there will be rain!
