Dahlia

We spent the afternoon at the Vicarage Garden, East Ruston in Norfolk.  It is a huge plot with many interesting areas and a decent tea shop.
In view of the ongoing drought in these parts, a large area of my lawn has died, never to be revived, so we were looking at their "Arizona Garden" a dry garden by any other name, for ideas to create a smaller version of our own. We came away with loads of ideas.  Now to sort the east of them and start building when I can get a spade in the ground!
This dahlia was not part of that area but I loved the colour.  I tried out the Pep Ventosa technique to see if it worked on a small flower.  I like it but it will not be to everyones taste.
