Blue Tit ( Cyanistes caeruleus )

The garden is still alive with fledgling Tits mainly Blue Tits.  It is interesting that the adults don't seem to be in evidence. A quiet day round home.

A species doing well, being well up in numbers of their 1970s situation, they are found almost literally all over the British Isles with very few tetrads not having records.  Average lifespan is three years and record lifespan 9 years 8 minths and 16 days.
