The Big Apple

I have had a jolly good day of serious macro photography.

Serious because I wanted to record some high definition images that were in focus, properly lit and composed.

Serious, because my subjects don't like being messed about. They just want to go about their business. Unmolested.

I confess I love the challenge of difficult, uncomfortable photography. No room for complacency.

I confess I don't mind intimacy with nature. I work with the subject, and respect it. Whether it is spiders, snails or wasps. They all play a part in our wonderful world. They are fascinating and fantastic.

I love life in the big apple!
