Crew Cut

Third boaty picture in a row. I promise no more for a day or two.
So, the grand regatta! And I was quite looking forward to it; until it became obvious that there was next to no wind. Still, we set off, inching over the start line and heading in the general direction of the Gunnet Ledge. Aye. Mr W (right, above), never a man to be idle for long*, got the waypoints into the GPS, and we began to realise the scale of our task. We'd still be half way round the course by the time Match of the Day started! Strewth. After a while, the beers were broken open, and a new course was decided upon. Back to the start line. A race which we won. Mr T (left, above) is seen here, bottle in one hand, and yes, that is a tiller in the other.
At this point I was giving encouragement and tweaking the sails. I also gave some instruction to Mr T on how to pee over the side without endangering one's own life. A most necessary skill.
