On a boat roof!

While cycling along the towpath near Hampton Court one of the boats, a quite small canal boat, had this lovely display on its roof.  
Going through the parks the grass is so dry. Even the Long Water at Hampton Court seems to be at a lower level than usual and at the Hampton Court Golf club the greens are less green than last week so maybe they are not being watered as much? 

The day got much warmer in the afternoon and the forecast is for it to get hotter in the next few days.

Still some good athletics to watch at the Commonwealth Games. The first football of the season today…I had not really realised until my husband was watching the match on TV!
