Prairie Colour

I've tried several times to get a decent shot of the colourful flowers without much success. I'm finding it difficult to get them to appear en-masse as they do to the eye. In this frame I got close to one group of brown-eyed susans with a wide angle lens to make them appear larger, but then everything beyond is much smaller. More experimenting required I think.

It doesn't help being so sunny and high contrast even in the evening hours.
