Apples

I spent most of the day taking down, washing and drying five pairs of curtains in readiness for the new windows. Each has been washed and dried separately and are in piles with their hooks, ready to go up again.

Today’s picture is some of the Discovery apples on one of our recently pruned apple trees. These are one the deer cannot rich; neither can we! It looks as though they are going rotten on the tree; no doubt once they drop the deer will clear them up for me.

The temperature at noon today was twenty-two degrees Celsius.
