Coolness at last!

Cone flowers have such beautiful details, from their spiky centres dotted with tiny little yellow flowers to their beautiful and colourful petals. These are still blooming in a small park not far from me.

Since our dry storm with no rain, just noise and flashes, our temperatures have cooled down and a deliciously cool wind has sprung up. Yesterday was very comfortable indeed and sunny. The night was cool and wonderful, but I opened all the windows in all the rooms to cool down the stuffy temperatures. This morning it was only 20C and the hight of today is 22C! A dream come true and I feel like a new person with tons more energy!

The cooler days and the refreshing winds should continue until next Thursday when the wind is expected to fall, causing the temperatures to rise.
Four whole days of cooler weather. Bliss.

You must be tired of hearing me talk about the temperatures - but the excessive heat really does domininate your life when even the nights are not restful.
